Our open day was a great success with visitors enjoying the newly refurbished Mill House, taking a look at the new decorations and enjoying the various canapes from our chefs at Cheek & Tongue.
We were joined by several suppliers who were willing to share their expertise and knowledge in a range of different areas:
Steph from Alica Ada Bridal who brought a selection of bridal gowns, sparkly tiaras, hair clips and combs and other accessories to complete your bridal ensemble
Kelly Waters - who provided make up advice for your big day and was on hand to answer any questions about skincare routines, etc.
Michelle from Your Flower Buddy who brought a beautiful variety of wedding bouquets, boxes and corsages.
Faria from who provides wedding favours with a difference as a gift for your guests, DJ Andy Flash provided the background music and brought his fabulous wedding rig and stayed to play tunes until the early hours.
Andrew Cooper from ACMagic stunned and amazed our guests with his trickery and sleight of hand - how did he do that?
Mandy Worsley was there to talk spa retreats for the bride and groom or a hen weekend for the ladies in your bridal party and Tina from Cake my Day who showcased her beautiful boho wedding cake.
It was such a success and we had a totally fabulous day that we'll be doing it all again very soon!

I've recently had the pleasure of attending more than one function at this recently refurbished venue. The building is really lovely, with a stunning function room and stylish bar. The food is very reasonably priced and first class, all of our guests were very complementary

Food was incredible, had a burger, pizza, wings and salt'n'pepper fries. All presented beautifully. Atmosphere is great with lovely decor and music at a good volume - can actually hear each other! Staff are fabulous - always smiling and happy to help!

Lovely venue! A real hidden gem tucked behind a main road thats had extensive renovations over the last few years. Plenty of parking.

From the moment we went to set up till the last person left, you were all very helpful and excellent company. Big thanks to the bar staff, laughing, dancing and singing all night. Food was delicious and the presentation was beautiful.

Can't recommend highly enough, had the school leavers party today. What a beautiful venue, Sharon has done an amazing job refurbishing and was brilliant with helping me organise a fab party. All the staff was so friendly will 100% be having an event here again.

Outstanding Afternoon Tea - The Mill House put on a special Afternoon Tea for Mother's Day and it was fabulous.
The attention to detail was second to none, with the whole tea being served in a very unique manner. There was also the option of gentleman's tea and children's tea so no-one was left out.
The staff were very attentive and chatted with us and smiled throughout the whole afternoon.

We had a christening party here a couple weeks ago. What a brilliant venue. Sharon and her team couldn't do enough to help and made it very special through lots of little extra touches. The venue itself is lovely and a great size for any function big or small.

I couldn't recommend this place enough ,if there were 10 stars that's what they would have been given . This is the second function me and my family have attended here first my nephew's wedding and last night my nephew's 30th masquerade ball and it looked amazing and from the minute you arrive you couldn't be made to feel more welcome
